I thought both of your videos were really well done!In the cave video I liked the use of the flashlight. The difference between the light that the flashlight created and the dark room was really interesting. I liked the way certain elements were illuminated and others were not. The Fire video was also really well lit. The Fire video was my favorite video out of the two. It seemed so natural although you had careful placed and lit the candles. The flames and the way the smoke moved was beautiful and captivating in a sense. Conceptually I really like the fire video. Although there was not a ton of action, I enjoyed the simplicity of it. It was interesting to think of your role as the performer. The video seems very still in one sense, and in another seems full of movement as the flames flicker back and forth. The cave video made me think a lot about the kinds of things we keep in a bag. I think you could have done a little more with this video maybe, but overall it was well done. Both of your videos made me focus on tiny details as opposed to big actions.
