  1. Idea/Concept: Both stop motion pictures are well thought out and well crafted. Good mediums and good subject material.
Visual/Aesthetic: Good usage of colors making the film very abstract. The colorful water is very interesting and could be expanded upon with more color and actions (such as bubbles) in the water. Pretty heady content in the guitar one, candles included.
Time: Time is apparent in the first film, because of the movement of the camera and the guitar cord. In the second film time is less apparent because only color is changing with abstract objects.
    Complexity: Both films are complex.
    Very creative as well.

  2. Julian and Morgan
    guitar video:
We really like this video, especially the sensuousness of it. really like how the perspectives switched and the image would focus and blur. liked how it was both threatening and romantic. reminded me of the snake in adam and eve and how he awakens knowledge of all things good and evil. the most creative to us was seeing from the perspective of the cord and the cord wrapping itself around the guitar before attaching.
Maybe as an improvement animate the guitar make it more of an active character.

    Abstract:
Loved the colors. The movement was really smooth and the use of color in movement was really interesting. really like the contrast between the solid pen and the softness of light and water maybe add more scenes with those element to lengthen, if you need to. Is a good length only lengthen it if you need to.
